Should DisneyChannel show "old-time" shows

Do you wish DisneyChannel would run old-time Disney shows overnight, instead of tween/youngling reruns?

Should DisneyChannel show "old-time" shows

Post by btharvey » Sep Fri 05, 2008 10:47 am

I'm a fan of the "older" Disney TV and movie fare. Though I watch and admire what's been made since the year 2000, I hanker back for some of the older stuff, and even Mickey Mouse Club (original), Disneyland, and what it turned into, the Wonderful World of Color (Disney).

Does anyone out there think that the overnight time on the Disney Channel (or Toon) would be better spent _not_ feeding the youngsters and tweens out there overnight (11 PM 6 AM ET/PT ... 7 hours) and instead run reruns of those magnificent shows, episodes (Davy Crockett!) that helped make Disney an everyday, household word? Please select your opinion and feel free to respond.

Heck, I'd even include semi-recent-semi-old stuff in that. Like, I dunno, Goof Troop, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, or - but of COURSE - DuckTales. Definitely definitely yes.
