Oh! I had that face for about 6 months after our trip. I just couldn't help fighting the tears... I took so long planning that trip that I couldn't believe it was over.
So, yes, I know the face......
I hope I have it again though........

I definitely agree with the planning adding to the face. It is just you put so much work into your trip and when it is over, you can't believe it. The worst is when you come home and see the stack of papers from all your hard work.wdwannabe wrote:Oh! I had that face for about 6 months after our trip. I just couldn't help fighting the tears... At least you just see one big stack of papers, so you just get sad once. I am the world's most disorganized person and have left pieces of my upcoming vacation all over the house. For example, I've got a hotel confirmation in my printer, my MVMCP tickets right next to the computer, my *bright green* AP exchange certificates on the coffee table, etc. First of all, it's going to be a miracle if all of these things actually make it down to WDW with me, and second of all, when I get back, I'm going to find these little pieces of Disney everywhere, and then I'll want to cry

However, I think leaving is a little easier for me because we drive, so on the last day, we can hang around and do last minute rides and shopping until we decide to start heading back to boring old Atlanta. I think a flight would kill me because I would have to leave at a set time.

Us too, but Athens... go bulldogs! Were abouts in Atlanta? We have an 8 hour trip, down 441 to just below Macon....spodie wrote: start heading back to boring old Atlanta. I think a flight would kill me because I would have to leave at a set time.

Flying is the worst. I turn on my Macbook everyday and on my desktop I see our Continental Boarding passes. I saved them as a pdf when I checked us in on our flight the day before. I can't bring myself to delete it. It brings a tear to my eye to think back to all that excitement.spodie wrote:Len90 wrote:The worst is when you come home and see the stack of papers from all your hard work.
