That flytunes does not have a listing for SR or Disney Theme Park music. Does anyone know what is up with this?

I use the Tuner app. for the iPod Touch (it's actually better than Flytunes, because you get a LIVE feed instead of some canned loop).
Anyway, I had the same problem. I was looking for SR in the app. the other day: I tried searching under SR, Disney, Theme, whatever I could think of...but no luck. I ended up having to type in the URL for each stream in the "open" tab. It worked from there.
Then I bookmarked them so I never lose 'em again!

I did the same thing this morning. It was great I hooked it up to the aux port in the car and listened to Subsonic. It was really great to hear subsonic radio in the car, but I just have to stay in good service areas. I have to say the Tuner app is worth the $6.Nicc513 wrote:I use the Tuner app. for the iPod Touch (it's actually better than Flytunes, because you get a LIVE feed instead of some canned loop).

(Edit) Just daw the thing about the Tuner, trying that now.
(2nd Edit)Ok got the app and tried inputting the link, tried and says it's unreconized, so where can I find the correct link to input?

Very easy to do. Here are the URL's to the 64K streams. I find that they work the best. The trick to this is you right click on the stream from the list and you will put into your phone everything in the url except the last "." and three letters/numbers.aboden wrote:I was just going to ask this same question if there was something like this, unfortunately I went to the site and couldn't find the station, is it still there?

So the request 64K is:

Star Tunnel is:

That could happen with the higher streams. Here is something to help make sure that these are all put in right. When you go to search, click open and put in the title for each stream like request 96k, etc... Then for URL, put in these...aboden wrote:Cool thanks, but now I get a "stream connection failed" lol I bookmarked them and will try later on to see if I can get them to work.

Okay, now to make sure your phone is capable to handle the streams, you need to make sure the 3G is turned on. On the home screen touch settings, General, Network. Then make sure Enable 3G is on. If not touch off to turn it on. Hope all this helps you out!

Yes there is. The app is Tuner Internet Radio. Once you download that (it does cost $5.99) follow the steps in my previous post.xyzzy wrote:Hi, I downloaded the app, but I do not see an option for subsonic.
Is there a way to listen to Subsonic Radio on the iPhone/iPod Touch?
Thanks!

Thanks, the ones I put in I colored red. I can say these do work but the strange thing is you have to put them in exactly i.e. they are case sensitive, not sure if it was just me but I kept getting the stream error before I fixed one letter to uppercase.Len90 wrote:That could happen with the higher streams. Glad to hear that worked. I forgot to mention that earlier that the streams are case sensitive and must be put in exact. Now if your car has an aux. port, you can purchase an auxiliary cable for about 10-15 dollars and you can plug your iPhone directly into your car and play subsonic through your car stereo!
Actually, the 64K is the most that will work on the 3G also. You can only stream the 96K in perfect 3G coverage, which does not happen often yet in NJ. Glad I was able to help you out.

or, if your car doesn't have a port, you can try an FM transmitter that plugs directly into your lighter. they run between $25 and $45 depending on where you get them, and which model you choose (they all have slightly different features to them). That is, assuming your iPhone has a regular headphone jack. it's what I use for my iPod Shuffle and it works great. with these, you can also use flash drives through a USB port, as it has play, forward, and reverse buttons to control the music. some of the models can even use some memory cards now (SD, MS, etc).
