I posted a youtube video having to do with Swisskapolka and The Swiss Family Treehouse and followed links to related videos (something I always do I after I post a new video, just for the heck of it). well, one thing lead to another and I eventually ended up finding this...

Disney is planning a remake! If it's succesful, maybe the Disneyland tree will be changed back and maybe we'll get some cool updates on the WDW tree.
I just hope they don't goof it up. Disney has a bad habbit of throwing in useless and annoying new plot twists in their remakes.

What happened to the DL tree?

it has been changed to Tarzan's Treehouse in DLR. WDW's has npt been changed at all and is still Swiss Family, but it's showing it's age.

I hope it will be changed back but I highly doubt it. I never cared much for Tarzan anyway..

Unfortunately, the bugs already have a tree of their own...

I do have to say some of the things they have some cool effects in the Tarzan tree house. Hint put your head IN the room with the Jaguar. If you do this you will feel something cool. Also the changing images on the video screens are very cool. I think that it is annoying that they changed it BUT I do have to say that I don't hate the new version.

They better not ruin the Swiss Family Treehouse in WDW, this is one of my most favorite things at MK. The views are fabulous from the top of the tree at night! I just loved this movie!

Please, oh, please do not let them change a thing at the WDW treehouse! I love the original movie, too. My favorite scene is where the kids let loose some logs from the top of a hill. Just as the pirates are flattened by the rolling logs the kids shout out, "Hooray!"
