I sorta like Aerosmith, although Guitar Hero has always looked kinda lame, on TV and when I saw people play it in person. That South Park episode about Guitar Hero is really funny and sorta true. Some bars around here were even trying to have Guitar Hero nights. Thats even worse than Karaoke! Its a shame if the game doesn't have any good Aerosmith songs. I still like Rockin' Rollercoaster at least they play pretty good Aerosmith songs there.

A nice feature.
It does, actually. I found it by accident a few days ago.

It's too bad that the game isn't good. I like Aerosmith. Of course, I say that while we have Guitar Hero 3 and I have never played it.

I'm sure we'll have to get Guitar Hero: Metallica for the hubby next year.

We need:
Guitar Hero: Metallica
Guitar Hero: Queen
Guitar Hero: Led Zeppelin
Guitar Hero: Pantera
Guitar Hero: Grunge

My opinion :P
AEROSMITH DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF GOOD MUSIC?????????

I read through all of this and it leads me to a question: DO ANY OF Y'ALL HAVE EARS?? I don't understand what I've read here, may be I'm just old. Blaming Run DMC for the strength of AEROSMITH'S music is like saying without the Bee Gees or Frampton nobody would know who the Beatles are!
Do Y'all listen to music or just what's on the radio?

PS Before anybody comes back at me, know this: I now have over 150gig of music (I'm 48, I still have everything I've ever (MUSIC) bought since I'm about 10 and I've put it all I my computer as MP3's. That includes 8 tracks {ask you parents, they can tell you what they are}) on my hard drive. We listen to everything in this house. My 2 DS's (TEENAGERS) keep me on top of what is current. So no I'm not stuck in the 70's.

I wouldn't say it's not good, especially if you do like Aerosmith. I'm not a huge Aerosmith fan or anything, but I think it's fun. If you like GH, the only reason I wouldn't recommend it is if you can't stand the thought of playing mostly AS songs (or hearing them over and over while you go about beating a level). I'm still hoping for GH: Sex Pistols someday..

You should try GH3, though, if you already have it. I really hated it the first time a friend harassed me to play but once you get into it, it's surprisingly entertaining. Although if your siggie counter is to be believed, I guess you may be busy with other things at the moment. ;)

I like it, but I don't like the whole "opening act" stuff. If it's called Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, then put all Aerosmith songs on it. They certainly have enough Aerosmith music to choose from and make a game out of.

I actually liked the opening act part because you get to use your own character a little, and because I really like a couple of the songs they used.

But I can see the other side of that too. It's not like there's a shortage of Aerosmith songs out there.

My point was that Aerosmith made some decent music and then died off, before Run DMC resurrected them so they could make a long series of unlistenable albums.

Just my opinion, obviously, but I would have a fonder view of Aerosmith if I only thought of them in terms of their "classic" music.

I hate to say this, BUT! After reading this my DW pointed out that you are correct. Run DMC did help bring Aerosmith back. After thinking more on the subject; I have to say you are both right. Still I'm always going to be a BIG, BIG Aerosmith fan.
PS I feel some of their new stuff is right up there with the old stuff.

It's kinda funny because now would be the perfect time for me to play it. I don't ever feel like doing much other than laying in bed in the AC all day. ;)
