Dream Along With Mickey

Post by earningmyfins » Jul Mon 14, 2008 4:59 pm

Dream Along with Mickey is probably one of the most enchanting shows at Disney World! In this post you can express your first impressions of the show.

My first impression - I almost cried when I noticed that the charcters were fully animated. It was something I had always dreamed of and I couldn't believe it was finally coming true. The show was such a blast and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed when I noticed that my family had felt the same way. I was so glad we got the moment on tape!

Your Turn... :D

I was there for the first showing of it in October 2006. My thoughts at the time were "if this doesn't finish soon, I'll be late for work at MGM!", but also that it was better than Cinderellabration. I also managed to "win" a monorail pin in the daily MGM Outdoor Foods Department meeting when the manager asked if anyone knew the name of the new show at the Magic Kingdom - just a couple of hours after I'd watched it's first showing :)

Overall, I like it. I've only seen the animated characters in video though, as they weren't there back at the beginning.

I intended to go and see the final showing of Cinderellabration, but ultimately forgot and went to Epcot instead . Oh well. :)

I actually found it a little creepy to see the characters eyes and mouths moving. In many of the pictures I took te eyes were closed!
"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

I thought it was a good stage show. I wasn't overawed by it (and we don't stop to watch those shows much), but it was definitely good for its purpose.
