I love this idea. It might keep people out of the parks (at least a small percentage) but still keep the old attractions. I remember back when they had pirate trips to Treasure Island that ended with a bonfire and marshmallows. That was way before Discovery Island.
There have been rumors for years about turning it into a convention destination for parties.
I myself would like to see them turn it into a "Lost" themed island. Probably not the best place for kids, though with all the polar bears and smoke monsters.
