Coronodo Springs for the very first time. I hope I like it..I've walked around it and went swimming in the pool and it looks gorgeous so I see no reason why I wouldnt.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Thanks, GhostHost. I have renewed vigor in planning the next vacation again.GhostHost wrote:The kids will love ASMovies! We stayed there and don't have any kids but are big kids ourselves. It has just the right amount of theming and is still affordable. I would stay there again for sure.RREng77 wrote:Actually contemplating ASMovies for our next trip: we'll have a 7, 4, and 1 year old. No point in staying someplace with better accommodations, if the kids would be happier with giant figurines.![]()
After all, it's only going to be a good vacation for us if the kids enjoy their time...

At least I have SSR to relive my past vacations, and continue to revisit WDW with each post!

We stay at the Boardwalk every time we go to Disney - I really like it! It's within walking distance to Epcot and DHS (that walk is a little longer, so you can take the boat as well).Usually when we go we stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (for the animals). But, this year we are changing things a bit and staying at the Boarwalk Inn. Does anyone have any opinions on it?? What extra-curricular activities go on at the BI?? Thanks.
As far as extracurricular activites, you have 2 pools: one family one and one "quiet" one. And,of course, the actual Boardwalk outside of the hotel is the main draw. If you've never been to it, it's pretty dead during the day, but at night, it comes alive with performers, games, etc. There are restaurants, a bakery, an ice cream shop, a couple of souveneir shops, and a couple of clubs. One of the main reasons I love staying at the Boardwalk is that I can come back after a long day at the parks and enjoy the atmosphere without being far away from my room. And don't worry - it's pretty well-insulated, so if you're trying to sleep, you won't get the noise from the Boardwalk. Hope you have a great vacation!

If we stay at another moderate resort it will probably be here or POFQ. We almost picked one of those last time but opted for Caribbean Beach Resort instead. We really enjoyed that one as well. I think it's hard to go wrong with any of Disney's resorts. I'm looking forward to trying different ones as the budget allows. Sometimes a value resort is all we can swing in order to make a trip happen when we want to. I would rather visit more often and stay at a value resort than to only be able to go every few years and stay at a moderate or luxury resort. Just my opinion though. It's fun to try different places and see how they compare.metsofny wrote:new orleans riverside. I love this place, it's very peaceful.
