I'm so happy for you (read: jealous). I hope to be there soon aswell, still working out the final details. But you should really enjoy the trip back to your REAL home. DCA isn't that great but you should see it before it gets redone, that way you have something to compare it to later when you get to see the new and improved DCA.

Your boss sounds cool, nice of them to let you barrow the camera. Of course all that giggling and jumping around while talking about it must have been what really did it.

I was born and raised in California, but now I live in New York City. I am flying back in the middle of June and plan to spend a goodly amount of time in disneyland! can't wait!

The last time I visited Disneyland was September 2006. Luckily, we'll be visiting this September! :D

Went to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Alice ride over the memorial day weekend.

IT WAS FABULOUS!

I haven't been to Disneyland since 1996.

1997 was when we made the switch from California to Florida. My husband, a Central Florida native, has never been to Disneyland. We would REALLY like to go...it is just so hard to give up the vastness of WDW for it.

Maybe the next time Texas returns to own the Rose Bowl. ;)

I went with some friends on Tuesday. Even though there were a lot of people there, we were able to ride 20 attractions: Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Railroad, Pirate's Lair, Splash Mountain, Tiki Room, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, Tarzan's Treehouse, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Tea Party, Matterhorn, Mr. Toad, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Show White, Finding Nemo Submarine, Space Mountain and Star Tours. We ate lunch at the French Market Restaurant and dinner at Redd Rockett's Pizza Port.

Disneyland is usually a once-a-year event for me, since I don't have an annual pass.

the thing is why go to only a land when you can see the whole world. I saw disneyland when I was young but I just can't go to cali now.

Admittedly, I've never experienced Disney World. There are certain reasons why I like Disneyland. I have gone to the park about every year or two since I was 6 years old, so I have many great memories of trips with friends and family. Also, Disneyland is more closely connected with Walt Disney, since he opened the park and personally supervised the opening of many of its attractions (even though he was also very much involved in the planning of WDW before his death in 1966). Living in Southern California, it's obviously easier and cheaper for me to visit Disneyland once a year than it is to fly to Orlando and spend two or three days at WDW, although I would eventually like to see it.

My last trip was in August of 2006. Last year we went to WDW for the first time, but this year we decided to go back to disneyland. :D :D :D
