1st thing you do when you get to WDW

It pretty much depends on where what time we get on property and where we are staying. But, most likely if we are at BCV or BWV we hang around the pool and maybe grab some Beaches and Cream - yum!
As for the parks, we always start and end the trip at the Magic Kingdom....and typically includes the candy store!

Check in and head right away to a park. In the past, it used to be the Magic Kingdom but I just love EPCOT every day I step into it, there is just something about that park that I love so much.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Check-in and go to a park. It depends on what time of day we arrive on which park we go to. If there is enough time, we ALWAYS pick MK first. If it's later, we will head to Epcot for a couple of hours.
Magic Kingdom is always our first and last full days, though (and a bunch in-between).

We normally get to Disney in the late afternoon the day before our tickets start, so we normally check into our hotel and head off to Downtown Disney. However, this year, my sister and I have an extra ticket from a previous trip, so we will leave Atlanta really early so we can get to Disney around lunchtime and will probably hit DHS first.

Aww I saw you are leaving in 2 days. I leave Saturday night. We are taking a red eye and I live in Vegas so we will be getting into orlando around 730 in the morning. We are meeting some family there, my brother and his family gets there Saturday afternoon. So I guess if we can't check in we will probably go and get something to eat. I'm not sure. My grandparents are coming into a few hours after I do so I doubt we will head to a park until they get there. We are staying at the same hotel.I do know that we have reservations for Germany on Sunday so I guess we will be heading to Epcot first.spodie wrote:We normally get to Disney in the late afternoon the day before our tickets start, so we normally check into our hotel and head off to Downtown Disney. We wanted to stay at the Beach Club but they were booked so we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My brother, sister in law and niece are staying at the Boardwalk. He checks in Saturday afternoon.spodie wrote:We're staying at the Boardwalk - you?spodie, maybe we will!!! What hotel are you staying at?
check in....head to a park either eat or catch a ride...we usually skip lunch anticipating a good Disney Meal. this Year we have ADR for Tepan Edo at 7p.m. and flight arrives at 3p.m. so if lucky..we can ride Soarin first! then its a great meal and finish it off with Fireworks!
