Interesting responses.

So, most of you would recommend buying a book, rather than giving them your own personal opinions? Perhaps that's the best way.

Well, I would give my opinions of the attractions if they asked, but I know that my opinion is skewed by how many times I've been there. Some of the "must sees" are not so much "must see" for me anymore just becuase I've seen them a million times. So I'd want them to have a good "unbiased" opinion.

For first timers we sit down and do "trip planning" with them.

We pull out some maps, and explain the fastpass system, and talk to them about getting to and from the park, and meal planning. Having been to everything in the parks (just about, we are missing MILF, and TSM) we can talk to them and about what they are interested in and what to avoid.

And give them tips like what attractions should use a fast pass and which ones you should need.

No, I still talk them through a lot of things, give them tips, etc.. I just also recommend the Unofficial Guide.

My advice to first timers is get the feel of the place, take your time to absorb the magical atmosphere, try everthing that suits your party and most of all don't rush around you'll only burn yourself out. Allearsnet.com is a great site for info on accommodation, attractions and even has photos of seating on the attractions. wdisneyw.co.uk is also another good site. Disney's own site is good.

:mickey3: BUT MOST OF ALL ENJOY YOURSELVES!!!!!!!! :goofy_bounce:

Absolutely. I have a good handle on what I love about Disney, and I've heard many other things about Disney from others that brings them back to the parks repeatedly. Those two lists can be fairly different, and the books do a better job than I would of giving a summary of the reasons to go.

I'll offer personal opinions only if asked specifically, and I prefer they do a little bit of reading before we talk about much.
To do the improbable, we first have to dream the impossible.
