I loved it, but my wife thought the world was coming to an end. The G-forces were just a bit too much for her to take.

Overall, I'd say it's VERY GOOD, but not EXCELLENT. My hopes are higher for Soarin'.

Can't say I loved it - the storyline was a bit lame and the general ride didn't live up to hte hype and expectations in my book. And when they need to stock barf bags in each seat you know something isn't right. Being the only one in my family that can actually stomach that stuff also says something, so many people can't ride this thing...

Yikes!!!! It scared the bejeezus out of me!!!! I had a hard time handling the G-force, too, and was almost in tears 'til it came to an end! (I know, I'm a big wimp!) I wanted SO much to love this ride, but I don't think I can get on it again  .....my husband thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread, however. :)

Made me a little nauseous just thinking about it. I've had some inner ear problems in the past and think I can imagine how it might feel.

So how does the ride work? Same concept as Star Tours, or is it a room in a centrifuge, or...?

How the ride works

Post by wdw1090 » Apr Sun 03, 2005 8:36 am

The whole ride is just spinning in a huge room that makes your feel like your taking off, and the faster it spins the faster the ride is in the movie.
