That is too funny - that's what firends and I have always said too! Some milk would be nice to go with the cookies!

They should project the milkyway on the ceiling to go with those cookies

Something I just thought of after watching an onride video. The unloading area before the conveyor belt is very bland. They should give that area more of a space station feel, I always thought that part was sort of an interuption of the experience.
Y'know, the area with the red and grey carpet and plain walls with the word, "EXIT>>>"

That is a good point. That area really could stand to have an update.

Mucho agreement. That 16 second walk is a major let down. Here's to hoping they make the theming consistent from entry to exit. I just wish a TTA refurb would happen too

I agree, but I also fear this. What if they took the attraction out altogether? It's not like it's a major crowd puller. I'd rather have dumpy TTA than no TTA at all.
The areas you travel through on the TTA would be vastly improved with nothing but some simple paint. It would do wonders (like it would in so many areas of the park).

I don't think they could do that to us! It's almost an evil thought. But yes, all TTA really needs is some paint. I'm fine with my dumpy TTA as well.
TTA brings, if nothing else to many guests,
atmosphere. Having those friendly little blue trains wandering about adds some much needed movement to Tomorrowland's look and feel. Not to mention the blurbs of announcements as you walk under it... *sigh*
Wow, now I'm just getting all sentimental.

Haha... it wouldn't be a trip to Disney without waiting for the ladies of the family outside the Tomorrowland bathroom listening to,
"(voice approaches) ...League of Planet's Astro Orbiter! this symbol of planetary harmony provides all beings with an ehilerating SPIN...(trails off)"
I then whisper under my breath "around the planets" and recieve odd looks from other people also waiting for their party

Oh my goodness. I was totally just brought back to the restrooms under the old Skyway. Waiting, waiting for mother and sister to finish using the facilities.

isn't funny how slow the ride is until you are trying to get a picture of the castle or are in the Space Mountain section of the ride. almost like the thing doubles its speed.

Hahaha Croaker that's oh so true. You need some seriously high shutter speeds and vibration reduction to get any kind of good picture.
And yes, I always wished that they would slow it to the "model hallway" speed. It may be just because you feel like you're moving faster in the dark (heck, that's what happens on SM) but they could at least try to slow it!!

That part always cracks me up. It says, "Now approaching Mickey's Star Traders," and then it feels like you fly by it. You can't even see what they sell in there. Probably not the marketing effect they were going for.

No, probably not. You know you're going too fast when the announcement regarding their shipping continues past the store...

And isn't that a challenge!!! Some of my best shots are during these moments. Of course, some of the worst are too!! Deep sigh.... love it.

I have to laugh at myself sometimes for taking the same pictures over and over. I guess I just hold out hope that THIS verison of SSE or the castle will be better than my last attempt. After all these years and thousands of pictures I have some pretty nice ones!
