So... Can you talk about Disney 24/7???

Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

My girlfriend finds it odd that a grown man likes Disney World so much. She thinks I could use professional help! I could talk about it all the time. Since she can't/wont, I joined this site.

Just about everything reminds me of something Disney, and I could very easily bring it up constantly. I already irritate people enough with my Disney talk as it is.

I find that I could talk to anyone at anytime about Disney. The only problem is that they don't really want to talk at all.

I can talk Disney 24/7 but sometimes I totally realize most adults don't necessarily share my love & opinions for it thats why I participate in on-line Disney forums. I know there are people all over the world that share the same passion I do. So, I CAN talk Disney 24/7 if I want :)

Thankfully I've turned my husband into a Disney nut! He went with me in '05 (we were just dating at the time) when I ran the Marathon there, and that's where he said he fell in love with me and Disney World!!! We honeymooned there in '06 and go every chance we get! Our converstaions always seem to end up talking about Disney, either past vacations or what's new at Disney or how much we miss it. Sometimes, when we step outside in the mornings during the summer, we'll say "it smells like Disney". Maybe the dew on the grass?!

I also have some people at work that love Disney and my parent's. :D

I think my wife would probably divorce me if I talked about Disney any more than I did... But all my coworkers think I've lost my mind....

I know exactly how you all feel. My husband is Dinseyed Out.

My friend's husband calls me the 'Original Disney Princess'. I can talk Disney in my sleep! I often wonder if my kids truly love Disney or are they just hmouring me!

I try to hold back that I'm a huge fan of the parks, but whoah boy, when someone asks me a question about how Space Mountain works, I can talk for hours.

I try to downplay how hopelessly obsessed I am when around strangers, however when I'm around someoen i know who is also a Disney fan, a Disney discussion is eventually inevitable.

I also try to downplay it around disney "newcomers" especially at the parks, because a lot of times, they think they know most everything and they can get really defensive even if they have no idea what they're talking about I also don't want to have to try to explain to them why Monsters Inc. in Tomorrowland is bad because then it makes me sound like a magic murderer.

I always act the role of "normal everyday ignorant guest" when in the parks and when a Disney conversation is started in queue line, I let the other person do the talking to me for the most part unless they have proven that they are a full-fledged Disney fan worthy of in-depth discussions. This usually requires a mention of a WEDway PeopleMover or the year 1971  .
