Requested track scheduled time to play?

Post by JimB » May Sat 10, 2008 7:41 am

I'm new here and can't seem to find any area that tells me at what date and time my request is to be played. I'm getting to understand the point system and 72 hour lockout and play history but I can't figure out when my request is slated to be played. Thanks...

Look at the the Now Playing list, and it should tell you what songs are already in the queue as well as what time they are scheduled to play in the next to last column. When you request a song, it should line up after the last one on the list (though it doesn't hurt to refresh that page once just to be safe that that is indeed the last song in the queue).

Thanks for the reply...I must have done something incorrectly...I had requested a track at 9:30AM EST on Friday morning and it didn't show in the queue. According to History it played at 2:30 AM EST (the following morning!!) I just requested another track and it showed in the queue immediately. Maybe it had something to do with a new registration or point requirement. Once again, thanks for the help.

That had to be the case as I NEVER have bugs in my code. :)

If it happens again, please stop by the chat and let me know so I can look into it. Thanks.

Would be cool if we could transfer points for a day. that way you could use my 6430 along with whatever you have for that day. Could make someone's Monday like a Friday...or at least Thursday..laugh.

Same for me, Croaker. Today was the first time in forever that I've gotten on early enough to request songs. It was like 7 am, and my songs just came up in the queue (at 1:40). :)

In addition to trying to make my picks so that I can hear them at some point in the day, I've noticed more of the popular picks are being picked and played before most of the U.S. is even up and moving in the morning. That's tough.

I know it might defeat the point of requests, but if you people are DYING to hear something, come by the chat and I'll throw it on the scheduled stream.
