I like this...cause i don't think hate is a word that associates what Disney has done...but rather outdated. If they brought some of the real old attractions up to 80's-90's technology it would improve the attraction by leaps and bounds. Some may argue that the nostalgia of the ride needs to be left alone, and i'm sure by the looks of their members only jacket and parachute pants that change is only accepted when its quarters and rolled nicely. I truly think a great idea for a 5th Park would be to take outdated attractions and put them there. imagine a park where the rides you remember as a kid are still functioning and available to relive your dreams preserved for enjoyment and a good laugh or two.MouseMan wrote:I'm torn. I voted CBJ. Hopefully not to get rid of it, but to somehow update it. It is so dated and seems like a big Chuck E Cheese show now, but it's also a Disney classic. Really I'm with Calypso, somebody likes every attraction on the list so I wouldn't get rid of any of them.
What Magic Kingdom Attraction would you like to see Removed

See ya Carousel (lack) of Progress!!
How is it possible no one has voted to get rid of this!?! I understand the history behind it but it is huge (so you could put in a great new ride) and painfully boring! It was out of date 20 years ago. Does anyone even go on it anymore?
And I am confused by the votes to remove MILF. That is very entertaining, interactive, and relatively quick, and has seats and airconditioning!!

Hey, I like the Carousel of Progress! All they need to do is to update the end, so that the future isn't today.Chernabog wrote:How is it possible no one has voted to get rid of this!?! Exactly! It would be a shame to loose this attraction entirely. (COP that is) You can have Monster's Inc.figment34786 wrote:Hey, I like the Carousel of Progress! Yah, me too.kcarts wrote:I'm not a big fan of the "Flavor of the Month" attractions basically used to sell a movie. They don't do anything for me.
EDIT- I'm talking about things like Narnia at MGM. I have no problem with using characters from movies as long as it's done right! I just don't want pure ad's.

Someone voted for the Carousel of Progress? I don't particularly like it, but wow, that's a classic attraction.
I could care less if Stitch or Monster's Inc were gone. The latter is cute, but I'm over it, and don't care to see it again.

I wouldn't mind if they shunted it over to MGM (er .. DHS). They can Pixar like crazy in their new fancy 'matching bricks' area and I'll recant all hatred of this attraction.yodiwan1 wrote:Many of you say that MILF doesn't fit, so where would you all put it? I know I finally did it last week and loved it. It was very funny. It helped that My fiance and I were both singled out and were on the screen, but we really were laughing at the other jokes.

What's not to love about 27 minutes of original Walt Disney magic, inside this cool, dark air-conditioned attraction. Even if I didn't love the attraction (which I do) I would still sit through the show for a nice break from the mid-day heat. The same goes for the Hall of Presidents. I love watching the show although I know many do not and simply use it for a rest stop. I never get tired of these shows as I always see something new each time.

Ahh, you seem to fall into the category of the "I don't notice the changes going on at Disney" group.Chernabog wrote:And I am confused by the votes to remove MILF. That is very entertaining, interactive, and relatively quick, and has seats and airconditioning!!
It's not that people dislike the attraction they despise the placement of the attraction. There's nothing Futuristic about it. It's completely misplaced in Tomorrowland and as kcarts says a "Flavor of the month" attraction.
Don't forget that Disney parks are "Theme parks" and Walt Disney coined that term because everything had a theme. Take a step back and look at Tomorrowland... think of the name Tomorrow... What do cartoons telling jokes, burping chili dogs, and shooting targets have to do with the future?

For me, Stitch should go.
I'm not one of those AE fans who resents Stitch for replacing a beloved attraction. I didn't really care for AE either. At the very least, I thought it was in the wrong park. Stitch manages to still be scary to little kids and not scary to older audience members who want to be scared. Plus, it's still not a good fit for Tomorrowland.
