They can't be as bad for the environment as Mylar balloons. The world is running out of helium, but relative to the amount of energy it takes to power the Disney parks, it's hardly worth worrying about.
We have to make some sacrifices or we'll have no civilization.
Still, I wonder if they could do the same thing with hydrogen. Then you could blow them up with flaming dart guns for fun!

Cute idea. Disney's fairly good about being environmentally friendly (for a big corporation); I would assume the soap is the same kind they use to make the 'snow' on Main Street.

This is a neat process. I was wondering when someone was going to utilize it. It is very simple, use any household soap and make the bubble with helium instead of regular air. That is why it is environmentally friendly. We will never run out of helium, and any biodegradable substance that will make a bubble.
