While you're worrying about them, they're busy building
EPCOT.

I have seen lots of pics and the plans are nothing short of spectacular. But will it be magical or loud and flashy like Vegas? Time will tell.

And going, and going.
Dubai isn't just building this "theme park." The entire country is bursting with growth and is home to some of the most ambitious construction projects in the world.

Anyone see the special on National Geographic about "The World" Islands in Dubai? OMG. Talk about $$$$$$$$$$$. There's a whole lot more to this story that theme parks.

The World Islands are
so cool. I don't really understand what would possess someone to do such a thing, or what people are going to do with them, but that doesn't make them less awesome.

Yeah, it's called thinking big. I know of a dead dude who used to do this all the time.
Anyway, looks like they're making good progress:
I love when humanity does this stuff for no reasonable purpose!
Kinda sucks from an environmental perspective, but at least they're trashing the joint for cool reasons.

True... But, not too many people can afford to visit The World. It's meant to be exclusive, not inclusive.
