Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

The first year we were dating, my (now) wife and I went to Disney, and have gone every chance we get! which is generally only about once every 2 years....
But the various message boards, and disney tunes keep us there every day!

My Fiance has grown to love Disney as much as I do! The Disney magic is in all of us here in this family!

I am so very lucky...my husband loves Disneyland. When we were dating we would make an annual trek for my birthday in May. We first took our daughter when she was 2 and she loved it. She is now 7 and would probably live there if given the choice. I am so glad she shares our enthusiasm. Our dearest friends who now live in Indiana are also as into Disney as we are so it is wonderful.

Thank goodness my husband doesn't love WDW as much as I do...we'd be fighting all the time about where we wanted to eat, what parks to go to on which days, etc. He leaves everything to me to plan and we usually go for my birthday every year so I ask for presents at every store on Main Street.

My wife is a fan, but she'd (jusifiably) call me a freak. Both my sons are on their way to following safely in their freak's - I mean father's

- footsteps.
I don't know of any close friends or relatives that are nearly as infatuated with Disney as I seem to be... That's why I hang out here.

I was actually surfing the web the other day and saw a post on dis boards (I think) where someone asked about a site that was for Disney Dating. She wanted to find a man who was as interested and loved Disney as much as she did. That is as far as I got on reading the post....LOL Guess that is one way to make sure your S.O. likes Disney too!

When my boyfriend and I first met, we were amazed at how much we had in common. But nothing thrilled us more than the fact that we both LOVE Disney. We both grew up in Disney loving families and share the same excitement when it comes to anything Disney. Thats how I knew we belonged together!

I'm confident I probably said this pages ago...
Not even close. Can't stand when I bring up the word if more than once every couple of months or so. More importantly, suggesting a trip more than every 3-4 years or so.

My spouse likes Disney and is the one to introduce me to the magic, but I think he likes Disney World and I LOVE it. He agrees to come every summer because he would rather be with a really happy wife than a moderately happy one.

I converted my husband, now he is just as hooked. On our first date, I wanted to go se Hercules (in theatres at the time) he refused saying that it was a kids movie. As it turns out, it is now one of his favorites

Hahaha...
I'm working on my girlfriend...
APs to Disneyland go a long way....
Once she's hooked on the theme parks, we'll move her into the full Disney treasury of movies and bam!

Haha well, I've been with my boyfriend for over 5 years and he isn't a theme park person. It isn't like discrimination about Disney he just says he gets motion sick and to me I was a little hurt. Because I've been brought up on going to Disneyland and Disney World. But I respected him. Well I am going to Disney World in a month and I asked him if he wanted to go and he said "Yes!" and he is actually really excited and I couldn't be any more happy than I am. It really means a lot to me. I know once he gets there he is going to want to do everything and I know he'll have a lot of fun. It's all he talks about right now. He's very curious about the park because he has never been there and he doesn't understand what it is going to be like. I can't wait!!!!!!

I wouldn't call myself a disney freak but I get what disney is all about and notice & appreciate all they do from the major attractions down to the smallest attention to detail that makes wdw so special. I love spending time there and so does my wife but she doesn't notice all the small things that make wdw so magical.
