Excellent. Excellent indeed.Cheshire Cat wrote:They should just build a ride sequel to CoP dedicated solely to the future - that way they don't have to place as much stress on CoP... wait a second...
Which Disney ride/attraction should be fixed next?

I vote space mountain. I think they have a great opportunity to really update the ride using the LSM technology from rock and roller coaster. Instead of a chain lift, you really are rocketed into space! I believe that Disneyland in Paris has this already, but I'm not sure. But it would also give me a big ol' smile if they did throw Star Tours into the Battle of Hoth. awesome. imagine soaring between the legs of the Imperial Walkers.

I voted Jungle Cruise. This was one of the original Disneyland attractions that I saw on TV as a young kid and always wanted to ride. Put in some of the newer AudioAnimatronics animals and headhunters and make it look really real. That would put the magic in it for me. In 1955 the original animals looked real to me and made the ride exciting. We've gotten used to seeing the much more realistic AAs now.

The Universe of Energy needs to be updated in a major way! ellen is so borrrring! The concept of energy could be so much more than an individual who has a dream about an ex-college room mate who compete against her on Jeopardy. Its been the same show for 12 or so years, and it seems to be empty most of the time. When you stop and look at the rides next to the TUOE, it seems so outdated and slow. Its the only downer at Epcot. Update the inside ride(maybe update the audio-anaimatronics of the dinosaurs),replace Ellen and the cheesey story line, and make it something special because its the first attraction that people see when they take a right at Innovention. Disney gets rid of Horizons and they keep Ellen! What a joke!@!!!!

Tomorrowland Speedway.
Emphasis on the "Tomorrowland" bit.
Not Todayland with Lightning McQueen or Yesterdayland with Tow Mater.
(I like these characters but not here.)
Dump the noisy smelly petrol engines and dream about what is going to be available tomorrow. Then do that.
Didn't someone once say "If you can dream it you can do it".
Electric hover cars? Oh Yes please, why not.
This is what imagineering is supposed to be all about.
There you go Imagineers of today. We want solar powered electric hover cars.
Now go do it........Hurry!!!

Supposedly it is being closed for two weeks for a refurb. Will have to see what they do with it.briandancer wrote:Once Kilamanjaro opened, Jungle Cruise sank to the bottom of the list for me. Who really wants to see fake animals when you can see real ones in a longer, more interesting ride?
I agree 100% on that. Kilamanjaro everything away from this attraction when it opened.

I voted for UoE. Like people have said, I think Space Mountain is indeed scheduled for a well-needed face-lift. I also considered Star Tours, but I finally chose UoE simply because that building is SO huge, it has SO much potential, and the original show was SO much better (I'd also like to say that about Spaceship Earth - it's last refurbishment broke my heart into a million tiny pieces). Come on, Imagineers, make that attractions SHINE.
Also, I think Honey, I Shrunk the Audience could certainly use some updating.
