What kind of tea is it? Maybe they should package it and sell it as "Universe of Energy - Dinosaur tea" at Epcot. Come to think of it. maybe WDW should manufacture and market air freshners/candles, etc. that are modeled after people's favorite WDW smell. Just think:

- Pirates of The Caribbean's - "Musty Treasure"
- Horizons- "Orange Grove"
- Frontierland's - "Turkey Leg"
- Spaceship Earth's - "Rome is Burning"
- etc.

Thanks - I needed that. That was quite possibly the funniest thing I've read in quite some time. Sickeningly enough, I'd probably buy some of those products...

I don't know that I have any one particularly Disney smell, but I'm truly fond of the Epcot Flower Festival. Any bakery or the Main Street Candy Store will do just fine, too.

- Burning Rome is great.
- Rainforest Cafe. Sometimes we'll be out at home and I'll say "It smells like Rainforest Cafe here." It takes me right back to Disney.
- Whispering Canyon Cafe inside the Wilderness Lodge. Man, I love the smell of that restaurant!
- Main Street Bakery. Since they actually "pump" the odor onto Main Street, you can smell it as soon as you start up the street!

Those are a few of my favorites!

Pop Century food hall reminds me of our Honeymoon :minnie: :mickey3:
1980, 2000, 2005 and 2008 all had plenty of magic. Hoping for a bit more in 2010.

Never thought of this one.......

....what a great question. I just asked my wife to list the top 5 things she's looking forward to on our next trip in May but this one is waaay more interesting to think about.

Musty smell on Pirates, Oranges in Horozins, water in Splash Mountain are all excellent - I'll add the candy store on Main St. It's the first thing we hit on the way in, and last on the way out.

How about the smell of fear for the newbies on Tower!!!

My absolute favorite was the musty smell in the Haunted Mansion. Unfortunately, since the rehab, it's been replaced by the scent of new wallpaper and plastic(?).

Second to that is the smell of the Rose and Crown. I hate the smell of fish, but the combination of that and stale beer/alcohol makes me happy.

When I smell hot tar in the summer here in Texas, it reminds me of the WDW Railroad. I love that smell.

I have probably replied to this topic more than once already but since I'm here I will do it again!

My favorite Disney smells:

-Musty band-aid smell on the monorail
-Rome burning at SSE.
-Baked cookies on Main Street USA.
-Oranges from the old Horizons ride.
-New orange smell, pine trees, etc at Soarin.
-The smell of the water on all of the boat rides.
"Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time, and for a brief moment we have been among it's many passengers." -Spaceship Earth / Epcot

The photo-copier at work today smelled like Splash Mountain - of all things. Bizzare, yet amazing.

Disney to me smells like the buses, the monorail, Splash Mountain, and its a small world. There are certain smells that one can associate with Disney. Every once and a while, you can catch a certain smell that reminds you of WDW and you cant help but to smile because you start to feel that you are walking right down the middle of main street U.S.A.!!!!

Hooray for Rome! My brother and I joke around and say that behind the Rome set is actually the cast cafeteria.

I've noticed this, but I don't know if anyone else has. No matter what ride, if they put in a smell, the ENTIRE ride smells like that one thing! Spaceship Earth smells like a BBQ. Journey into Imagination: With Figment smells like butter. Soarin' smells like oranges. Etc.
