It's nice to see this topic is still going :)

I know 100% that my Disney dream job if & when I was to retire to "the world" would be "streetmosphere." Like the ladies in MGM who do the acts in the street, or like the Mayor & Fireman from Main Street in the MK. I'd love to dress up & "put on a show" everyday for guests.

If that wasn't a possibility I'd LOVE to work in any of the Disney art galleries.

There's a lot of pages on this post. I don't remember if I answered. But, really. If I could only pick ONE job, it would be driving the Main Street Vehicles again. This really allowed for great Guest interaction. If I could know two attractions, it would be MSV and Space Mountain. Both, at Disneyland of course! Basically, I was VERY happy with the attractions I was trained on when I worked there.

I would love to work in Fantasyland and be able to see the children's faces light up at their favorite rides or their favorite characters...

I've already laid claim to driving the monorail and portraying Goofy as a character. I'd also like to be a "roaming" cast member and just get to walk around the parks interacting with people. Not a real job per se, but I'm also not going to be a monorail driver anytime soon either.

I would love to work in one of the resorts...not cleaning rooms or anything like that but probably a DVC rep in a resort or the checkin/checkout person. Not too much going on but still get all the perks of an employee. I don't think I could handle dealing with a protein spill outside of Mission Space or seeing all of those little delightful children crying with joy (I like to think so anyways) when mommy won't pick them up cause they're tired (it's a free vacation kid, enjoy it while you can).

I changed my mind, I think I want to be a ride tester. Ok, Bostoncg, climb aboard ride X and let me know what you think :D OR I can make a position of official park visitor  and get paid to visit the parks, sorta like a mystery shopper and report back with my findings. Now that would be great.

Beer taster in Epcot! One per day from each country!

Seriously, I think I would like to work in the research lab at the Land pavilion, and learn how to grow all of those beautiful flowers, and interesting fruits and vegetables. My wife and I are amateur gardeners, so I think that would be fun. (But, the beer taster job would be evern more fun).

I'd love to work in the shops. One problem, I would spend all my money on stuff!! I would also love to work with the Muppet Attraction in MGM.

That makes two of us - just don't take my job, huh?

I'd have to agree I'd be happy as one of the "old men driving a boat or a bus" just as well, though...

I would love to pilot the monorail or be a customer service rep. I would love to have the ability to grant special wishes for park guests! I can remember Disney people at the parks from when I was young. They seemed larger than life, they had smiles on their faces, they would give you tips about the rides, and most importantly: they made you feel extra special! How else would anyone want to retire! I would love to see the never ending smiles and hear the never ending laughter that come out of every child of every age and adults alike!
