This is very true but with some searching you CAN find them on other mp3 sites. Personally I'm not a huge fan of mp3's I only use them if I need the space on my PMP (Portable Media Player). A wav file is the way for me to go. I have been working on getting together the Wilderness Lodge, Wonders Of Life, Journey Into Imagination Restroom, and Illuminations loops. Plus many of the other tracks that play in the parks. Most of the info I found on Disney Music Loops ( http://www.disneymusicloops.com ) BUT you have to take the info with a grain of salt. For instance The WOL loop is very accurate BUT they are out of order. I have sent in the e-mails with the corrections but they haven't updated the site for a year now, but I keep sending in the info about the loops. Also the Wilderness Lodge loop is listed to have 10 more tracks than it actually has, granted I am going off to tracks on subsonicradio and not the loops I hear in person, but on my next trip to WDW I will check them for accuracy.Guy wrote:The problem is that from my searching, the majority of the pieces that make up the loop are not on iTunes.

Well there are 3 options open to you. One is to do like you said, sit there and do that. The second is to find a site like SSR and listen too manytimes to the loops and try to figure out what the songs are like that. The 3rd option is to just trust what either Disney or Disneymusicloops.com says is in the loops. I go with a 4th option, I take a little from all of the above. I first take the list from DML or Disney, and check for the sample mp3's on amazon or itunes, then I listen to the loop itself and figure out which of the songs IS in the loop and which aren't. Then after that is all done I will go to the resort or ride and listen to the result, if it didn't work I will know.
But in all honesty if I like the loop that I created aswell as the loop from Disney I don't see any reason to throw it away. I'll just call it my_____loop.

I have only come across the word 'induction' in relation to hearing loops for hearing aids. I wonder if the park project the music/announcements using a loop. If so, a induction recording would be someone recording the received signal. I shall have to look into the disability info on the parks and see if they have induction loops.
