Kind of weird that there are so many August birthdays! Can we put this info on our members list?

I have a theory about birthdays. I believe in many cases something significant happened nine months before you were born. Of course in some cases your parents might just have been planning to have a child and letting nature take its course. But for me, for instance, I was born March 12, nine months after my parents' First Anniversary. Coincidence?
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

I always figured this was why there were always so many kids in my class with September birthdays. 9 months after Christmas/New Year's. My birthday's only 8 months after my parent's anniversary, but then I was a few weeks early too.

You could also look at when Snow storms are and the correlation to children born 8-9 months later, generally this happens in the north. That seems to be a big one too. I have found, with my close circle of a billion online and real life friends  That after large stressful work projects things happen and 9 months later New Baby. I guess it is the joy of finishing a major test, Grant proposal, Convention, etc. they try to have a kid. Of course the one that everyone seems to miss is Valentines Day, I always forget (which will suck when I have a girlfriend, until then.....).

Who knows where you'd go to get a sampling of births based on month in the US??? Interesting question.

Being born in August and not "planned" I just consider myself a part of the New Year celebration! :-)
