Christmas tracks in February
Well, as much as I love this station I am surprised about the amount of holidays music that I hear out of holiday season. Who likes to request these tracks and why? I don't wish to criticise anyone, I'm just genuinely curious.

I'm, sometimes, in the mood for the Halloween parade tracks out of season. The Christmas stuff... a little less so.
I think nancynohorse would play Christmas 24/7 if she could manage it.

I think I'm in this boat. I specifically liked listening to it last summer/fall because I knew we were going to be at WDW the week before Christmas, so it was part of building up excitement for the trip. I think in general, though, I'm okay with a little break after the actual holidays before I start hankering for the tracks again.YZFDonor wrote:I love the holiday music... but after a few months break. I'm all for the Christmas tracks. That's the only time my family ever went to WDW - so I actually don't remember a lot of the "normal" area music, etc.
I'd sign up for a "Christmas in July" stream if it were offered! I've heard that there's a special stream around Halloween for the spooky stuff...why not do something similar for the Christmas music?

I personally keep a few Christmas CDs out all year round - I enjoy it every now and again outside of the Christmas season. So, hearing Christmas tracks here is great! Everyone has different tastes here on Subsonic - that makes it a diverse, neat site - and we can always switch streams if/when something comes on we don't care for, right?

I have to admit I'm in the group that would like a break from Christmas and Halloween music. However, since I usually have the option of switching to another stream (background and soarin' are my favorites), it doesn't really bug me.
We never go to WDW at Christmas, so I guess that's why the music just doesn't do anything for me. I always used to think it was heresy to leave my winter wonderland here in Minnesota to go to Florida for Christmas. But as I get older, the idea of Christmas in a warmer climate is looking better and better, so who knows, maybe someday I'll do Christmas at WDW.

I'm defnitelty not in the mood for christmas music in February especially since it makes christmas seem so far away and realize how much school work I have to do until it's christmas time again, it makes me sad

I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
