You're right in that I'm young and I've only been to WDW twice. I know a lot of people like Horizons, but my family and I didn't go on it in '98 and M:S was there when I went in '05. The only attraction removed that I've been really bummed about in my young experience was when they removed Country Bear Jamboree from DL in '00. It was a must-do for me when I went to WDW in '05. As for Soarin', the CA version is much better, but I never turn down the offer to go ride it whether it be here in CA or in WDW.YZFDonor wrote:I am guessing you are either new to WDW or young...indysoarin19 wrote:I really like Future World (Soarin' and Mission: Space are two of my favorite Disney attractions anywhere).
I don't hear many people say they like those two rides (in regards to the previous inhabitants)

Its funny, the MK has always been my favorite for nostalgic reasons, but the more I've gone, the more i've learned to appreciate the Studios. When I was a cast member on College Program, I worked at the Studios and on all of my days off I would go to the MK as it was my fav. Now, since the MK gets so full, the Studios is a lot more relaxing to hang out at especially down Sunset Blvd.

I'm by no means new to WDW, and wouldn;t consider myself to be too "Young" (except maybe at heart). I love Soarin' personally, and would ride it all day if I could. M:S I couls take or leave, as it was fairly lack-luster for me. and call me weird, but I actually (somewhat) liked the Nemo ride at the Seas. At least it's better than nothing there. in 2002 when we went, we walked through a doorway instead of the Hydrolators/sea-cabs. very disappointing and depressing.YZFDonor wrote:I am guessing you are either new to WDW or young...indysoarin19 wrote:I really like Future World (Soarin' and Mission: Space are two of my favorite Disney attractions anywhere).

Epcot is a one-of-a-kind experience. In spite of the dumbing down of some parts of future world, it's still unique. MK is a clone of Disneyland and both have been copied around the world.DIAC1987 wrote:I am so surprised that Epcot is winning this. I would think that nostalgia would give Magic Kingdom the lead. In terms of the complete package, there's no beating Magic Kingdom in my opinion.
I'm not saying Epcot is better than MK or anything like that. Just that the MK vote might get split up a little whereas the Epcot fans are fiercely loyal.
For example, I could have easily voted for MK. I came really close. But my lonely vote went to AK instead bacause I love the ambiance and the new attractions there.

I picked Magic Kingdom because when I think disney, land or world... the first image that pops into my head is walking down main street! I do like the other parks as well, but sentimentally, I have to pick MK. I love the atmosphere, and when I walk in the gates of MK, I just feel like "wow, i'm here!"

hmmm.... i think i already voted, but each park is special, but i like the studios the least and prob mk or epcot the best....for different reasons....some of the attractions at epcot are really top notch and nothing beaks MK for the nostalgia and overall ambience. but each park has some great attractions

i'm very surprised there are more EPCOT fans than MK fans....
i'd like to ask a favor to the moderators : i think another good poll would be : what is your favorite park other than the MK : among EPCOT, MGM and AK
I lOVE SOARIN TOO ! but that doesn't make EPCOT the best park of all
for me it is : MK > MGM > AK > EPCOT

I feel that for me what makes Epcot my favorite is the space, it it really large and the fine quality of restaurants... living here in Central Florida, I have been to Disney 2 or 300 times and so after a while, just a nice walk is really pleasant and fun. Epcot seems to fit that bill the best.

I am jealous, although being from the NE (NJ) I like my 'seasons' and I don't think I could deal with the heat. Although it would make getting yearly pass worthwhile. Then again, I would be afraid it would lose something.
I am not surprised at all about EPCOT being to fav here. MK brings out the kid in us all, and that is nothing to sneeze at, but EPCOT has a much more broad appeal. I don't care who you are, you are going to find something about EPCOT that just strikes a chord.
