Extinct Attractions Club?

Post by casrin » Jan Sat 26, 2008 5:42 pm

I just came across the Extinct Attractions Club website, where they sell DVDs of Disney attractions... (http://01508f4.netsolstores.com/index.a ... Category=3)

Anyone bought from them by chance? Feedback on doing so? Were the DVDs any good? 8-) Thanks in advance!

I bought a couple of things from them (American Adventure, People Mover, Haunted Mansion volume 1, and Carousel of Progress). They're very well done, with great interviews of some of the creators of the attractions. great archival footage and ride-throughs are included. good quality and definately worth the price (IMHO)

*mutters*

When you look at the DVD for Journey into Imagination, it says that if you buy 3, you get a deal. But when I went through the check-out, just prior to submitting credit card info, it wasn't giving me that discount! And I can't find a way to contact them to inquire!

I wish I knew how to add the ling to them There are even old TV specials there. They also sell audio CDs. I have watched Captain EO dozens of times this year already thanks to them! They are the best!

I bought Haunted Mansion Part 1, World Of Motion & If You Had Wings. Good Quality DVD's with cool interviews with Imagineers explaining stuff about the rides.

Hey Guys/Gals,

Eric here from Extinct Attractions Club, and Extinct Attractions Radio,

thanks for the great comments about the DVD's, David does a really great job on these, and works really hard, his videos are way different then any others out there because he knows alot of the Imagineers personally and has connections with Disney,

If you are having problems with any shipping or discount issues, feel free to send david an email via the website, he's great and will be more then happy to help out.

Join the newsletter, as he's always doing specials, and sometimes has 50% off specials to help raise money for charity

I am living in Ontario Canada, and run the Extinct Attractions Radio Network for David, so feel free to take a listen to us as well, lots of great podcasts, you can find us on the main Extinct Attractions Club webpage.

And while i'm here, Great job Subsonic Radio, i have been a listener for years, you guys do a wonderful job and i have always enjoyed listening to your music, keep up the good work!

Ok,

well, the new website has been released, and on the left hand side there is a "contact us" which sends an email form off to David, and i know it works, i used it yesterday,
and if you want to speak to him personally, click on "questions" and his phone # is listed there

Thanks for your support!
