i'm still having a very hard time switching over to calling it DHS instead of MGM! i can't imagine how weird it must be for all of the cast members at WDW to change to. i certainly hope their higher-ups are lenient and understanding about it lol! it must be hard to chnge the name of something so often mentioned after so many years!

Actually, I am OK with all the changes, as long as they don't completely dismantle all the Great Movie Ride stuff. It's all Metro Goldwyn Meyer, and I love it! Hey Disney, please don't take it all away!

Wow that does look empty with out the signs. It looks almost like a back alley. :P Hope the new sign goes up soon.

Thanks for the pictures everyone. It certainly does look different without the MGM logo on the water tower. Has anyone seen the water tower with the new logo?

I don't think they've put the new ones up on the arch/watertower yet.

I wonder how long it will take until they finally have those bad boys up.

Everytime I open this thread I'm hoping someone has posted pictures of the new signage on the arch and tower  . You guys have to stop posting here until someone gets pics, you're getting my hopes up. hehe

They are taking quite a long time to get the new signs though. So much for "the park will be changed overnight". More like, "the guidemaps will be changed overnight to create mass confusion for the next few months".

That article was interesting. I feel better that they didn't just dump the name for no good reason. I liked the old timey movie theme and MGM fit perfectly. Of course things have changed a lot and there are many tv shows represented so I guess it makes sense.
