Wow, hard question!
At first, I thought of where I usually spent my time (Tomorrowland and Adventureland); but after more thought, I realized that I usually came to these areas more for the rides and not for the theming (in fact, I often don't remember much of the theming in these areas).
At the end, I ended up picking Fantasyland, even though I spend the least amount of time there. Whenever I pass through Fantasyland or stop by to see Philharmagic for the umpteenth time, I always feel completely immersed in the fairytale setting the area is trying to portray. Thus, my vote went to Fantasyland. That's just my opinion...

i have read everyones 'rationalizations' and was pretty sure I already knew this but I am apparently not alone. I think it's safe to say it wouldn't be anything built [modified] in the mid-80's through the mid-2000's. It would have to be something original or something very recent. Eisner just lost it after EPCOT.Wow, hard question!

I like Frontierland as the best as for theming. You have the Rivers of America on one side, a very nice relaxing theme on the other. Then you also have Thunder/Splash in their own little area, though I must say that the Splash/Thunder area stinks when it is real busy. I like that area more at night when everyone is watching Wishes.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

I also went with Tomorrowland. I chose it because it is exactly (well, without Stictch, et. al.) as Walt planned. It is exactly what it was intended to be... a 1950's version of what the future will look like.
So, as far as "theme," I think Tomorrowland is absolutely the truest to its theme.

I still consider Liberty Square and Frontierland a megaland (just like Caribbean Plaza and Adventureland) They're really just a continuation of one another and two of the only Disney lands in existence that are fully visible to each other. Even their rides interact with each other.
To me it will always be Frontierland/Liberty Square.

This question caused quite the debate between my wife and I, and some friends, and my brother... so I'll just tell you about the three we debated before we made a decision.
It's an excellent question and a lot tougher to answer than I thought it would be. So I did the same as some of the rest of you and had to pull out my photos. My endless photos.
Main Street is amazing with keeping up with the theme for so long. It still to this day looks like the 1800's. Not just the buildings but the singers, the vehicles... but, and I know it's stupid, it lost points because the old theater isn't much of a theater anymore. And with that big sign it kind of is like false advertising. I don't know why but I guess the idea is lost once you enter some of the shops now selling video games and online stuff.
Tomorrow land was another serious consideration because of all the cool buildings. But then I remember seeing High School Musical performed there. And the Galaxy Theater is hardly in use anymore. And as Much as I love the Buzz ride, what does it have to do with the future? It's more of a comercial for the Buzz Lightyear action figure.
So anyway, I could go on but I've bored you enough. So we eventually decided with Frontier Land. With the old west looking buildings, the dirt looking roads with the wooden sidewalks, the wooden fences, the over look of the river and the river boat. The Pacos Bill resturaunt, The country Bears, even the stores inside keep the look even though they sell candy and such. Golly, they still even have crazy cowboy characters walk the street, and a cute show with cowboys and Woody. Now wait that's toystory. Yes, but he's acting like a cowboy. He's not looking for a villain stealing toy batteries.
"Here we experience the story of our country's past... the colorful drama of Frontier America in the exciting days of the covered wagon and the stagecoach... the advent of the railroad... and the romantic riverboat."
---Walter Elias Disney
