With fastpass, many queus are missed...Kali River Rapids and Everest are great examples. It's worth being sure you go through the standby line at least once to absorb the whole effect. (Not true for K.Safaris, Peter Pan's Flight, Winnie the Pooh, ToT, RnR, or Space Mountain -- use fast pass at all costs!)

I think it's worth going through the ToT stand by to see things in the garden (particularly around the fountain area, and the creepy statues), but I wouldn't suggest doing it in the summer. While the misters they have are cool and add to the atmosphere of the place, they don't do a whole lot to keep you cool.

Same with K. Safaris, although you can probably catch most of the things on the tvs and signs as you scoot through the FP line there.

I think one of the best is the pirates of the caribbean. Its not all that fancy but it just has that "feel" to it. Its dark and dank, and I like the music. Plus it feels like it could be an old fort.

This is something that I always had against the K. Safari queue. The TV monitors and theming in the back of the line are the most interesting; when you get to the front, you either get nothing (except the crowed cranes) or the short "Welcome to Harambe" TV loop. If I am not fastpassing and the weather is cool, I sometimes hope the line is long so that I can experience the back some more. Well, just my opinion...

Hate the wait, but love to get onto the elevator to Astro Orbiter. It was such a rush the first time with little kids, so it is still special!

Also love the queue for Storm Slides at TL. Such a cool tropical path!

ToT

What is ToT an abbreviation for? Forgive my ignorance.

edit: Ah, okay, after thinking about it some more, it must be Tower of Terror.

I love Space Mountains just because of the BGM, and the whole stars and galaxies on both sides. Then the opening bullentin board as you enter too is very cool as well.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

skull and WVParkfan, do you prefer the WDW or DL Haunted Mansion queue?

I've never been to DL, so I can't really comment on that one.
