A Haunted Mansion butler fosho! "Please step all the way into the dead center of the room, please!"
Sometimes the bluest part of the sky seems so far away from us, I guess thats what keeps us striving for it...

When I was at Disneyland yesterday I noticed that a lot of the Attractions were staffed by older individuals, so it was good to see them getting work while all the kids are in school.

I think monorail pilot would be cool, however, based on the fact the vast majority of 'this is our ride in the front of the monorail' recordings I've heard have shrieking children in them, I'm thinking it might also be a good way to get a headache.
I think if I could get away with some ad-libbing, then I'd pick jungle cruise skipper. If not then tour guide for Keys to the Kingdom.

OMG, OMG I can't pick just one....hmmm,
I'll start with my mother's retirement plans - she wants to be a popcorn vendor on mainstreet because she would get to watch and meet so many people.
I'm a sucker for costumes - so a fun costume would be a must. I'm thinking anything in Liberty Square for the costume. I would have said Living with the Land guide but they got rid of them. Maybe an omnimover ride so I'd get some exercise. Costume and omnimover would put me in the HM I guess. If I'm old and grey I could be Fairy Godmother.

Jungle Cruise Skipper, definitely. Heck, if they'd let me be a "substitute skipper" (I work full time, and I don't want to spend all weekend, every weekend working at DL) and just work occassionally, I'd totally sign up for something like that right now.
"Pretty soon we'll be underwater - I mean, underway."

I haven't had any Disney post-retirement ambitions, but my father who has spent his life in Northwest Indiana has always joked (semi-seriously though) about retiring to Orlando and working in the Magic Kingdom walking behind the horses picking up their "deposits." He thinks it would be great to have a job you don't need to think about, and be a Disney employee. Hey, if it gets me into the parks for cheap I am all for it!
