OK...Number two..All of the hieroglyphics in the the queue are actually secret messages. Back when the attraction first opened, everyone was given a decoder card. It helped pass the time away when the line was over two hours long, yup, I said two hours. Decoder Card can be found here...

I remember those decoder cards! It was when it first opened...i thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Still is if ya think about it. I know that some of the lettering in the heiroglyphs closely resemble the letter it stands for. That would be cool if you couldpost up a picture of that decoder cards for those who have not seen it.Bullwinkle wrote:OK...Number two..All of the hieroglyphics in the the queue are actually secret messages. Close, it's a Disneyland (or DL) Disneyland Resort encompasses everything, DL, DCA, Downtown Disney and Hotels.js3901 wrote:no, the Indiana Jones Adventure ride is not at WDW, and it's not at DCA either. it's right at DLR in Adventureland
I used to collect the cards. There were 3 different versions. We went on the ride so much we were almost able to read the language without the decoders. I'm sure there's a site with everything decoded.
Also, as far as the Generator goes. This and other great theming including an interactive spike room and archaeologist make the queue one of the top rated. This and Roger Rabbit's cartoon spin are the two best queues at Disneyland.

i totally know that sound...it drives me nuts, much like the person who posted the last board about this.
i always switch to the background stream or scheduled stream when i see the 30's track coming up.
i know the sound couldn't be helped, but i'm really not a fan of that track anyway! don't get me wrong-- the ride is great, and it's fun to listen to in the actual queu...i just don't really like hearing it outside of that, though.
