Disney Podcasts

Post by billville » Dec Thu 27, 2007 5:05 pm

What would you, the listeners, like to see in a Disney podcast that might not be in others you hear? Do you have any good ideas that you know would make a great segment? Id love to hear all of your ideas to see how imaginative you can be.

What are some of yours?

My problem is I never seem to get to hear the podcast. I am central time so it would be a 6:00pm. The schedule is showing that a podcast should be on at 4:00pm but no podcast is playing. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to listen to shows that have been on the air?
Thank you.

Well the way podcasts work is you download them and play them through your personal mp3 player or from your computer. Podcasts, as far as i know, are recorded privately and uploaded through a server. Once uploaded, all the listeners can download at their leasure and listen whenever they have time. Which one are you trying to listen to?

I did not know you can download them. I do not have a mp3 player. I listen from my computer. Please let me know how to download to my system. Thank you for any help you can give me.

the podcasts that are played on the scheduled stream are not for download.

To find/download Disney Podcasts, you do not need to put them into an MP3 player. You just need a Podcast "catcher" such as iTunes. with iTunes, you can search for, download, and listen to the podcasts. You can learn more about/download iTunes at this link

Also, some podcasts are attached to a URL where you can simply download the mp3 file from the archives. I know that windowtothemagic.com's podcast list on iTunes is incomplete - to find some of the older episodes, try the websites.

Ok I understand that the podcast that are on the scheduled stream are not for download, but how come when the schedule shows them, my computer is playing music and not the podcast? And I am in the scheduled player not the request player.

tbell59,
Yeah, it sounds like you are on one of the other streams. There are several and the podcasts should only be on the Scheduled Stream.

I don't like listening to people talk. Just not interested. I do like listening to the people and the sounds as you walk thru the parks. I have found acouple of podcast that stream, that you don't have to download to your computer, and you can pick the episodes you want to listen to. http://www.mefeedia.com/query.php?type= ... mit=Search
I like "The Meandering Mouse". Once he finishes with his B.S., he walks thru the parks, giveing a verbal tour. Sometimes funny, other times not.

This one is my favorite.

its roughly around 20 minutes long.
covers a large variety of useful information.
great mix of humor.
perfect for all ages. (my daughter is a big fan of it too! shes 14)
willing to say if they don't enjoy something.
ones a pittsburgh steeler fan! (now if we can get one to be a Man U fan!)
3 times a week and if that isn't enough get their old podcasts.
