when we were down there a year ago (exactly), there was a shuttle launch scheduled on our last day (December 7). everyone was talking about it and saying that you can see it from WDW property. unfortunately for us, we didn't get to see it because of a delayed launch...SeasDiver wrote:I am sort of thinking of meeting up then running to the Contemporary 15th floor decks to watch. Anyone ever see shuttle launches from Disney? I have seen them from Melbourne (and Cape Canaveral itself), but am unsure if you can see it from WDW or not.

Wow, was it? It was such a nice day (so far).coasterphil wrote:The launch was scrubbed, so I'm going to try and meet you guys there after all. I'll be in a Rosen College t-shirt.
I'll be there, um I don't know what I'll be wearing, maybe an ABC store T-shirt.

We were able to meet up (3 of us) and it was a nice quick meet. Sorry we missed ya Lion, we waited around until about 4:15 or so (we were at the tables at El Pirata) and dispersed after taking a photo (which shall be posted soon, I hope).

Dang! I did see some people at a table nearby the entrance! Don't tell me...QuickGold wrote:We were able to meet up (3 of us) and it was a nice quick meet. I totally wasn't expecting a whole bunch of people to be surrounding that whole area.
