Thanks for the update Sub! I always like seeing how the haunt went! Next time Halloween is on a weekend (or Friday), my wife and I are going to make the trip up from SD.

THat's a long drive for a 1-2 minute walk through maze :) there's much better places to go to :)

It might be a long drive, but it would be fun to experience it. Plus there are no Haunted Houses around our neighborhood down here anyway, so we wouldn't be really missing anything. :)

Well, if you do come out, you should plan to hit up Knott's Scary Fam as well.

Of course! We used to go every year when we lived in Lake Arrowhead, and stay at one of the hotels around there. We haven't been in about 3 years though, we just haven't been able to plan it out well enough. SD has a couple down here, and we usually do this "Haunted Trail" in Balboa Park. It's pretty good, though no where near Scary Farm, obviously. One of the cool things they do is always play horror movies on a big screen while you're in line (and it's a long line). We've seen Ghostbusters (which I totally geeked out about), Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th part IV and some others. It's a pretty good way to get you in the mood for scares and it ensures that people are watching the screen when some of the monsters come through the line and scare people. Always fun. But yes, Scary Farm is awesome and if anyone in Southern CA hasn't had the chance to go, it's highly recommended, and money well spent.
