WDW Satire

Post by Cheshire Cat » Nov Sun 04, 2007 12:25 pm

I found this really funny satire video of WDW. It's kind of long, but I thought it was entertaining if you're into stuff like that and you have some time on your hands. I got a lot of laughs out of it mostly because a lot of the stuff is true.

WARNING: Some of the jokes this guy uses can be offensive. (I even found a few to be out of taste) Don't watch it if you're easily offended by... anything really.

Too long to try to watch it all at work, but I watched the first 5 mins or so. The guy's voice is annoying as all get-out, but I giggled at his comment on "the best kept Disney secret" not being very well-kept since they advertise it EVERYWHERE.

yeah, I found the voice grating after the first couple of minutes. I found myself grinning at a few of the jokes, and even chuckled for a couple.

Same here, tried to watch it. Only got through about 10 minutes or so. That guy has the perfect voice for scuba. He kinda reminds of that guy that sells that book on how to get the secret government grants (you know the guy with the dollar signs on his suit). He was somewhat funny, but I think more annoying!

I watched it in segments because of his voice... I still can't tell whether that's his normal voice or if it's something he created to try and sound funny.

If anyone's gotten to the part with the "fat plutos", does anyone know why Disney created those? I never really knew how to describe them, but after hearing him, I think that's exactly what I was thinking. They're so weird  .

I think because kids love to squeeze the plush dolls like that, and with it short and fat, it's more "snuggable"... at least, that's all I can come up with...

I watched it in chunks and somehow managed to get through the whole thing. I agree, his voice got really annoying after awhile but I stuck with it. His voice aside, I found some of the jokes to be funny. He had me laughing a few times.

to me, he sounds alot like this guy from movies/TV. he has the high/whiny kind of voice that just kind of eats away at your soul...

They are called "Cuties" and as near as I can tell they are trying to compete with Hello Kitty.

If you goto Disney Ink Shop they have a lot of images from the series.

I watched this and it was very annoying. The jokes were funny but I'm glad I'm not alone in being annoyed with the sound of his voice. The first thing I thought when I saw the plush plutos was Hello Kitty too. I saw that was mentioned above.
