New Job!!!

Post by yodiwan1 » Nov Tue 06, 2007 8:06 am

Well, I am an elem. ed major, so I figured I would get a job sub. teaching this year. After 3 months of waiting to be certified I finally got to sub yesterday! It was an amazing feeling being in the room all day with the kids. Now I know I definetly want to teach. I can't wait to graduate soon and have a classroom of my own!!!

Teaching is a great profession. I taught for four years in a senior school and loved every moment!

Congrats! What grade do you have right now? I spent 3 months as a study hall instructor at a high school... way too stressful for me.

Thanks everyone, right now I am just subbing in elementary schools, yesterday, my first ever, i had 3rd grade. It was a blast. Once I graduate I want 1st or 2nd, in florida there is a big test that start once kids get into 3rd and you must teach your class around that test most of the year, and I don't want to deal with that. I am one of those thinking outside the box, drees up like the presidents and crazy idea type of teacher. I love it!!!
