Wow. While working as custodial at the Studios- you got nothing in return for your hard work. The only thing we got were prizes if we didn't have CM accidents for how many days. I think the record was like 100 hundred or so.

:(

Good thing the trash didn't overflow. I hate when you have to get somewhere, and it's right in the middle of a crowd. You just gotta excuse yourself over and over till you get there.

Have fun on your vacation!

yodiwan1, that is my dd, who btw will celebrating her birthday on Saturday. I took this last Sept during free dinning, we were eating lunch outside in Mexico, and we were just about done, and I see the three caballeros coming out and told her to get the autograph book out and I would snap a picture and she did........ so this was last year, 2006. I had heard rumors about the change over of Mexico to Donald and the caballeros, prior to our trip, and when I saw them I knew it was true.
Thanks for noticing, yodiwan1.

Yeah, during my program, I didn't figure that I needed faster speed to listen. So I went those months without it, and when I got home, I couldn't even listen. It made me miss the place too much.

Good to hear your weekend was awesome. Now get back to work, lol.

Is there any place in Epcot that you typically work at?

not really the place for it, (as it's getting a bit off-topic), but here's a run down:

DD = dear daughter
DS = dear son
DW = dear wife
DH = dear husband

In World Showcase, for a night shift (230-1 or 430-1) You are either assigned Streets, Restrooms, AmGuard Theater, Sommerfest, or the World Showplace Building (Milenium Celebration). Only 2 people each get sommerfest, showplace, amguard a night so more than likely I will be assigned Streets or Restrooms.

For restrooms, you usually cover 2 countries restrooms per shift for a total of 3 restrooms usually while Streets, you cover one countries trash and sweeping.

Lately, I've been doing Streets, I've been bounced around every day from Norway, to China, to Morocco, to France, and today I worked Odyssey Streets. I like the change never knowing what area you will be covering for the day.

Any other questions? Please ask! I love answering all your questions!

That's something I quite liked. Moving around the park. Much nicer than staying in the same place day after day. There's only so long you can stand outside the Tower of Terror hearing people scream all day from behind you before you fancy standing somewhere else ;)

I'm still alive over at MGM, there just hasn't been much to tell you guys about. I'm only working one day a week for now and nothing terribly exciting happens at the front gate. The only thing you have to look forward to is the awesome entrance of the HSM2 show. :lol:

If you guys do have any questions though, not sure what you they would be, ask away!

Today was a good day. To prepare for another busy weekend night at World Showcase, they have 2 people in each country and instead of spliting the country in half, we had 1 person just focus on sweeping while the other people focused mainly on trash runs. My assignment for the day was United Kingdom Sweeping. It wasn't too bad, I got to my area, did a quick sweep then the rain came and it came down hard. So I went in the back to dry off a bit then once it stopped, went back outside to sweep some more.

This was my first time working the United Kingdom area and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The best was when the British Invasion was playing as nothing can be wrong when listening to the British Invasion while working! I even made a friend while walking through the Tea Garden that is set up for Food & Wine. The poor girl was by herself without many guests visiting her so every time I walked through there to sweep, I talked to her for a bit. A bunch of small talk but she's only been here for 5 weeks while I've been here for 2 months so we shared some similar feelings about missing home but still having a good time.

I had my Basics class on Saturday. It was basically a 2 hour traditions only focusing on the Service Basics. Not very exciting, but at least I had a chance to sit down for a while.
