I also cried my first time going to MK and realizing Mr. Toad was gone... I was just a kid then, but I balled my eyes out!

Yup.. I'm a eye's well up kinda girl, just reading these posts have me a little choked up. Once we had extra fast passes for Rockn Rollercoaster that we didn't have time to use. We gave away to a father and daughter..it made them so happy it made me cry.

Wishes always gets me as does American adventure. When we took a backstage tour they talked about an effect they use in A A that physically triggers an emotional response (was it the bass vibration on your chest or something like that??)

All the time at ramdom intervals, not always sure what the trigger is either. It can be anywhere, Parks, resort, going to get on the plane for Orlando... Certain songs.

Disney is good at dragging out the emotions. And I'm a guy in his 40s

Another time I almost cry is standing beneath the lights of MGM's Osborn's Spectacle of Lights. It really gets me as the snow comes down and the lights are flashing and the christmas music is playing, and I look at my wife... oh man... lump in my throat...

I've cried on the Great Movie Ride. When I was a kid my mom and I would watch all the old movies together. She knew who everybody was and who their kids were. We would spend hours watching movies.
When I'm on the GMR it just brings back so many memories, that I get over whelmed. My DW just holds my hand and lets me relieve it all. It's like mom is there!

I just came back on the 7th and I cried during Wishes and I took a friend of mine who had never been to see the Little mermaid show and cried with him in there. I was crying all over the place. I cried during the Backstage Magic tour. Then when we were on the Magic Express back to the airport I was crying then too. My friend just sent me an email thanking me for his lifelong dream of going to Disney and it was so touching - I jsut can't get enough of that place. I think it is so fantastic that this site exists and there are so many people who appreciate Disney out there.

Hey folks. I know I've mentioned this before but the very first time I ever went to WDW as I stepped into MK I felt a very pronounced lump in my throat and my eyes became heavy and moist at the same time. To this day I still have trouble explaining it, even to myself! Maybe it was one of those "is this real or a dream" scenarios or perhaps it was the sense of actually 'coming home' in a way since I had studied WDW from the inside-out for a long time. Also, even though my itinerary stayec pretty much the same as my times at DL there were also those little differences that made the whole trip that much more worthwhile. Then again, that's what Disney is designed to do isn't it; make you actually FEEL something deep down right? Later, peace.

HEY everyone! Another update by yours truly.

Recently I've been having a life is harsh issues, and my wife could see I was hurting but I try to put up a strong front. Well, she surprised me the other day because we've been doing ok finanically and she bought us Season passes to the world! Can you believe it?!! I know I know... Season passes have black out days... they are for the cheap skates... whatever. But the point is the minute we bought the passes and stepped into the MK, I held my wife very close and fought back a tear or two. It's amazing how much this place can effect you... and how you can forget all your troubles.

Thats Awsome about the Seasons passes, your right it is an amazing place!
I cry every time I go to Disney. There is just something about Disneyland and Disney World that I have never been able to explain really. :mickey:
:mickey3: I think that it is Walt Disney's spirit. Disneyland was built from Walt's pure and wonderful dream and Walt Disney World was built out of Roy's love for Walt and his belief in Walt's dream! I think this love and magic touches everyone who enters the gates!

Oh jeez! I'm a blubbering baby from the minute I start packing until I get home again! All of the nighttime shows get me--especially that darn Spectomagic! Truthfully, I was crying last night just listening to Subsonic tracks. Boo hoo :( I must get back there, and SOON!
