Seven Seas Lagoon Fishing
Has anyone ever done the catch and release fishing trip on the Seven Seas Lagoon?! Thinking of having my husband and dad do this while we're there. Any info. would be great! Thanks!

talk aboug perfect timing, but i was at this mall, and there was this disney vacation club store (complete with animal kingdom model rooms) and i went in there, and some how the cast member started talking to me about the world class bass fishing there
. thats all the info i have though right now, but i hope this helps! have fun!

heres the number 407-939-2277...the book says....$200-235 for 2hrs up to 5 guests....$405 for 4 hrs, each addtl hr 100....bait, refreshaments,guide and digital camera all included...At fort wilderness and pport orleans riverside you can also just rent poles for a little bit and fish from the shores....much cheaper this way and not time restraints....any other questions let em know, i have a huge book here about disney stuff, i cnma look anything up!! if you want to call me just PM me...hope this helps!

Hey, Boilerbabe, did you ever send your hubby on that fishing excursion? I took my father-in-law last year, and it was fantastic! Here's some pics:
Here's me with the first one I caught:

Here's my father-in-law with one of his (note the Castle and Space Mountain in the background):

And I was fortunate enough to catch the best fish of the day:

We chartered a regular bass boat with a guide, and we caught a lot of fish that day. It was really cool because at one point we were anchored up not far from where the ferries go by, and a couple times as we were landing fish in the boat, a ferry would be passing by, and the people would cheer and take pictures. It was great! I highly recommend it. As a bonus, we each were given free lure samples as well as free 1-year subscriptions to Bass Master Magazine, and I have really enjoyed that. I can't remember how much we paid for the trip, but I want to say it was somewhere around $210 total for the both of us. I'll ask my wife to be sure.
