my new favorite (and only one I've been there for) is Christmas. The sights, the sounds, MVMCP... all great. I especially liked the Holiday Wishes! fireworks show at MVMCP. I recorded it and captured the audio for it. I gave it to Sub for addition. I also got a couple of Christmas shows and a new, very funny Jungle Cruise, and Stitch's Great Escape.
But, enough with the off-topic from me. Christmas is great. and all the CM seemed to really get into the season (at least the ones we talked to)

Hmmmm. believe it or not. I like the Halloween party better than the xmas one. here are my reasons...
1. FL is WARMER in oct- a cold florida just doesn't FEEL right. I LOVE breathing that that sultry FL air! I love being able to wear shorts and a tank when it's warm.... and not worry about feeling cold (except for when the AC is too pumped).
2. Being a New Englander... I have to say, that I expected more in the way or decorating for Christmas... I thought theirs was sparse.... their "snow" was cool though... smelled good.
3. The Hot cocoa was WAY too sweet and it was made with water (not the PROPER way.. with hot milk!). The cookies were killer though. (But I do like the trick or treating better!)
I did like the parade and the fireworks.... But again, I like the halloween ones better (maybe it also has to do with the fact that halloween is my fav holiday.... Being a theatre major for undergrad.... I still like to get into costume.)
The Osborne lights were cool too... especially the "OOOOOHHHHHH" you hear from the crowd (and your own mouth too) when they switched them on.

I've only been to WDW during Christmas (this will be the second time). And while I love Christmas, and I love Disney, I don't really like Christmas anywhere but World Showcase.
I would LOVE to go for Halloween, though. The Boo to You parade seems like the best thing ever. Hitch Hiking Ghosts! Bony! Dancing butlers! Villains! Cool music!
I would love to be at the Mansion on Halloween.

I have to say Christmas time in Disney is pretty neat. MVMCP was really nice and there's nothing like seeing snow in Florida.
I know I'm probably crazy to say this with the heat and all, but I've always enjoyed being in the parks during the 4th of July as well. My most memorable moments have been during the trips around this time and I always get an itch to go back and experience it again.

Christmas because there's just so much going on. We just got back from MNSSHP this Sept., but I don't think anything tops Christmas. It's two types of magic combined: disney and christmas.
We're going down for Christmas this year with my grandparents. The last time we went down with them was Christmas 1995, so this is going to be truly magical.

We went for Christmas and New Year 1999-2000. It was fantastic.
All the parades and decorations were so good and the atmosphere was unbelievable when the Sun went down.
Snow in MGM and a walk around the backlot with all of the houses decorated (pre Lights Cameras Action).
Reading these posts gives me a hankering to go at Halloween.

I have to agree here, FREE CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes you do get cookies and Hot Chocolate, expired apples (yes expired, I have a picture), but honestly does that compare to free snickers, M&M's, etc.?

I have never been to WDW on an actual holiday, but my favorite time of year is Christmas. I guess it reminds me of my first trip with my nephew when he was only 4 in 2000. My sister-in-law and nephew just got back from a few days in late September and the Halloween decorations looked amazing in the pictures.
