I just returned foorm a wonderful trip to EPCOT and found that Spaceship Earth is closed. Has anyone heard what they are doing? Is it just a freshening up or a total redo?

Wow...ok well spaceship earth has been closed since early june and will reopen hopefully next month. They have been changing a lot of the end of the ride to make it more "interactive" I hope that helps!

I've been told that it could be months before it's open. It's not just a freshening up, but it also doesn't sound like a total redo. It should be more interactive when open, like Horizons.

That said - they could speed it up and be open around Thanksgiving. But a couple of months ago, I was told that it could be as late as March. And I've heard rumblings that it's not that close to done right now. But again, Disney could maybe work 24/7 and get it done quickly.
