You know one of these days we have to figure out a way for someone to wear a camera (like the ones the British Bobbies wear now) on their head during their day. That way we get to see all the magic of the park. When I say magic I mean edit to video so it shows to cool or good stuff, not someone going to the bathroom, or sleeping on the job for an hour.

The cast party backstage at EPCOT was pretty nice. I was just getting ready to spend money on food when I got a call from a friend that there was a cast party in the Party for the Senses tent. I made sure to fill up on the food and look around the extra EPCOT gallery.

Let's see, I remember that you can get up to 50% off if you stay at the hotel with your guests. It might also depend on the season as well.

40% off if you arent staying in the resort with them.
50% off if you are. (and you get a resort ID too so you can do EMH)

And then there are block off dates like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc...

They really cant so thats the scam...

And yes Disney West, Food & Wine has taken up alot of time at least for myself as I usually wake up late after getting home at 2 in the morning for the past week. I've been working 430-1 since last Thursday so I'm just too tired to type anything so I've been slacking on my updates.

The weekends are by far the worst for Food & Wine as a lot of locals come to EPCOT to get fat & drunk. It kind of ruins the magic for me as all the tourists aren't having a good time because it is so busy. I almost didn't wanna continue working on Saturday since it was so busy. I was in China Streets and a lot of people were just crowding around in big circles gabbing about stuff and it just didnt feel like Disney to me. It felt like a cookout in someone's backyards where everyone just makes a huge mess.

This past week, I worked Odyssey Bridges/Rosewalk so that's been pretty easy and I've had interesting night details at night. One night I was an extra so they made me and this other guy dust all the lights on the Promeade. Then these past 2 days, I've had Norway Streets which is hard considering everyone camps out 2 hours before Illuminations. One of my trash cans, I could not get too because there was 10 people surrounding it and I was afraid it was going to overflow after Illuminations but I'm lucky it did not :).

Onto more good news from work...For each month, we have a little contest of who ever displays the best BASICS of Disney World (Basics is a little hard to get into) but bascially maintaining the basics of being a Disney Cast Member. Well for the month of September, I earned up to 9 stickers so I won first place out of all the World Showcase Custodials so I get 2 free movie tickets! I'm so proud of myself :). And already this month, I have 4 stickers!

I won't be available for the next few days as I have a guest coming up from home. I'm really excited because it's like a vacation within a vacation (The CP). We will be staying at All Star Sports and will probably go to each park at least once as she is only up until Monday. So take care and You will hear back from me shortly I promise!
