well, I can answer the "on the site" part of the question, and the answer is no, we don;t have anything from the Grand Californian. In fact, I think we only have 1 track from any of the DLR hotels. and it's from the Disneyland Hotel.

I'm not sure if anyone can find any tracks, but I'd love to get some Grand Californian tracks on here as well. I love the hotel in general, plus it's where I had my wedding reception! :D

Yea, i know what you mean. I cant seem to find them anywhere. I guess this is one set of tracks that Disney didnt let slip out into the public.

I second that! Can anyone enlighten us midwest/east coasters as to what kind of tracks are played at the Grand Californian?

It's kind of similar to Wilderness Lodge, but a little more laid back. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Bela Fleck's music (one of his tracks that is played at Wilderness is on the site), but the Grand Californian music has a similar sound and feeling to some of his tracks (Shanti, Shuba Yatra). Possibly another way to describe it would be that where Wilderness Lodge has some triumphant, larger than life American music the Grand CAn has more of a downplayed American countryside music. Sorry if my explanation doesn't make sense, but it's the best I could do. :mickey: Anyone feel free to add to my explanation or come up with a better one!

Yes, its very relaxing music similar to wilderness lodge. Yet it still has a Disney feel to it. If you like wilderness lodge audio then you may like this as well.

All I can remeber from my stay there was that the music was restfull! If I didn't like the parks so much, I could probably just sit in the lobby all day w/ a good book :hatter_bounce:

i have definitely spent a good 4 hours in the lobby with a book when I had my annual pass. Just relaxing in the lobby by the fire place or in the main hall with the piano is a wonderful spot to relax and take a break. You just have to be careful not to fall asleep, as three members of my family have.
