Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

One year ago, we were at Walt Disney World for our first family vacation for one full week!

boohoo..... wish I was there now!

We had the best time....I've been saying last year we were doing______, and we all say, yea! We miss it too! We had such a great time!

But, not sad for very long....we shall return! :D

So I guess you don't want to hear this is the longest time since we've been to WDW in the last 4 years. We went in Febuary 07, and won't be back till 19 Oct 07. But it's okay we went for a 11 Day Disney Cruise in June and spent 4 days at DLRP.

In my defense, prior to meeting my wife, I hadn't been to WDW since 1990.

It's been a year from this last July for us. I can still remember when we first arrived, my daughter came out of the bathroom of our room at the Wilderness Lodge saying "Now this is a vacation, we don't even have to flush the toilets". :mickey:

as of right now, it's been about 10 months since I was there (man, time flies). and I won;t get back down there for at least another 14 months (unless a miracle happens).

I was there a couple of months ago, but not in the parks. Does DTD and hanging out at resorts count? Going back in December... taking Mom to experience Epcot and going to MouseFest.

A year ago, I'd been at Walt Disney World for just over two weeks, and had another 7ish weeks left there.

Chances are, exactly a year ago I was standing over at the Disney-MGM Studios selling ice cream to the guests :)

I did go to Disneyland Resort Paris at the end of May though, so it's not *that* long since I was last at Mickey's place :)

It has been just over 6 months for me! The longest I've gone is 2 years and 2 months. We usually go once a year and try for 2.

A year ago in the middle of October I was in WDW, I really wish I was going to be there this year. I REALLY want to be there for the MNSSHP. The only consolation is that I will be in Disney for the first time for Christmas this year.

Yes, yes you were. I recall you found me over near the Backlot Tour manning the coke bottle stand :D

Sigh. I wish I was still there... :?

This was a good year for us....my husband and I were at WDW for our honeymoon in Dec. '06, we went back this past May for the Minnie Marathon Weekend, and we're going back at the end of Oct. to celebrat my dad's 60th and to run the Tower of Terror 13K!!! Not sure when we'll be going back after this trip, so I'll be crying when we leave for sure!!! :(

Let me know how how that goes. I can't get the time off work to do that... it's the wrong weekend for me. I'm going down to for a century the weekend of the 19th.

good luck on the race/run. I don't know about running events. But I know about me in cycling events. They always say it's not a race, in my mind I always hear the Bobke, Paul Sherwen, and Phil Liggett commentating.

The longest I've ever been without a trip is coming to a close, happily. We're going in December 3 years after our last trip (almost to the day, actually). Though we went 3 times in '04 so at least I had a good year before the 'dark ages' started. It's funny how time flies ... it doesn't feel like it's been 3 years already but then I look at the number of things that'll be new to me and it feels a lot more real. On the plus side, I guess, this'll be the first time in a long while I've gone and there's been a bunch of new things to see.
