I haven't full on cried yet but I have been pretty choked up. The American Adventure gets to me too. Also, when I'm packing up the next morning to head home, I get pretty choked up. Because I just don't want such a fabulous time to end. Sometimes the real world can suck.
But isn't it amazing that just a place... a THEME park... can affect you like that?

Just about 30 years old here, and I can think of two occasions I've cried at. One is the first time I saw the Electrical Water Pageant (strange, yes, but I'd wanted to see it for soooo long and never had, and my husband went out of his way to make sure we had a room we could watch it from the balcony ... it was very sweet). The other was the first time I saw Christmas Illuminations, with the special ending. I fully anticipate crying at it again this year (and am actually looking forward to it). The 'We Go On' portion of Illuminations can get me choked up too, but it's usually more of a 'tingly goosebumps' effect - even listening to it on here.
I admit I do get choked up when we have to leave, but I'm getting better at remembering that Disney World isn't going anywhere, and we'll always find a way back.

I'm one of the grinning like an idiot brigade.
I get sad when it's time to leave, but the memories keep me cheery until next visit.

Well Im 17 and I tend to get choked up all the time which is probably worse than an older person crying because for teens my age Disney is not the "hippest" thing to do and definitely not worth crying over. But I always have to stop myself from crying just cuz I dont want anyone, including my family, seeing me cry over Disney. But I definitely have wanted to cry on numerous occasions such as Parades and shows etc, especially lately for some reason.

I just played the Horizons theme song, and yup, i cried. Thinking of that ride just chokes me up cause it was my favorite growing up. I almost cried my last day working there, and everytime my trips end. I always make sure they end with Illuminations. Watching old videos of my former Cps and me running around always bring a tear to my eye....My fiance laughs everytime she sees me do it too!!

"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

Maybe not a full fledged cry but I get very emotional when I first walk in and then also on some of the rides. The American Adventure and Illuminations always give me a big lump in my throat and I usually have a small cry in the dark on those.

I get teary
I admit it I get teary at the end of American adventure and when I see a kid with the biggest smile ever as they meet their favorite character for the first or millionth time. (I'm partial to getting my picture taken next to Ariel in her gratto.
) But I digress... I get teary on my last day when I drive out of the Walt Disney World back into the "real" world. But then I smile 'cause I know I'll be back soon.
