Mine should be easy to determine. I'm a slave of the net.

I was amazed when I thought of the name (back in 97 or 98 ) that this name wasn't taken on AOL. I don't know how many "DarkRaven765" or "Spider12mg" screen names I saw back then!

I had the first Shadowfax (Gandalf's Horse) on AOL back in 95. I had stop using AOL for a few years. When I started to use AOL again you had to follow Shadowfax with 5 digits to get it. The Lord of th RIngs movie a come out.

I've always enjoyed roller coasters and my name is Phillip. Shorten both of those and combine it and voila! I've used it for everything since I signed up for my first forum in 2002.

I've had this screename as my default for about 9 or 10 years now, so here's the explanation (and don't forget that I was in junior high when I came up with this...) "danimal" is my nickname, "311' is my favorite band, and I added "4u" as net speak for "for you". No idea why 311 is for you, but whatever...

I am very boring. My name is just my first initial and my last name.

They're my favorite band as well. Are you seeing them when they head out there? They had a lot more energy this year and the setlists are much better than year than last, IMO.

Wow, this is crazy. I never thought I'd meet another 311 fan on this board.
I will actually be heading to the Irvine/Orange County show on the 19th, and can't wait (I havea wedding to go to during the San Diego show). It will be my first concert in about 3 years (I used to go to 3 dates a tour). I was checking out the setlists on the tour page on the main site, and I've been ducking into the bulletin board every now and then to see how everyone is enjoying it (I have the same sn on the 311 BB too). From your comments, I'm looking forward to it even more now. I'm actually pretty glad that they're taking a little break from making a new album, and it sounds like the semi-rest last year has allowed them to relax and really enjoy coming back on the road. Which show(s) did you go to?

This year I only had a change to go to one, Atlanta. I usually can make it out to more, but it didn't work out with my schedule. I got to hear 3 songs live for the first time though, so it was still a good summer.

let's keep this thread on topic, as it's about usernames, not concert venues/experiences...

When I was 5 I started to wear spectacles. BIG UGLY spectacles. I got called Joe90 by my school chums after a character on a TV show of the time who used to get special powers when he put his specs on.(I think)

I have never been able to shake the name. They even call me Joe at work now 30 something years later. You either fight it or go with it.
Joe90 it is. 8)

I've been Hypermommy for 13 years now... ever since I had my eldest in 1993 and was frequenting the BBSs back then (anyone else remember those?). That and the fact that I'm type A++++++ (i.e. rarely slow down).

For me the first 4 letters of my last name (Villalta) match the 4 letters of my first name.....hence billvill......but i added the "e" at the end to make it billville because i thought it sounded clever.

lol!
