We might as well add Chefs de France to the list of resturaunts that are closing/being renovating in epcot right now.Yeah a Ratatouille restaurant would make more sense I have to agree

From everything I heard, Uncle John wants attractions in the park sooner to the theater run of a film. It makes perfect sense that if the coaster is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios that it would have a Ratatouille theme since this was a recent release and WDW has an abundance of Nemo attractions. The ride system would be based on the Crush's Coaster in WDS Paris. I understand it is going into the Pixarland area that is being built at DHS. From what I have heard, that whole side of the park (the old Mickey Ave section) will be Pixar themed.
I really hope it gets built. MGM ...err DHS needs to be revitalized, updated, and receive a few more attractions.

last I checked, there are like 4 coasters in MK, and only 1 in MGM. If a new coaster needs to go anywhere, it's MGM, or somewhere in Epcot.tmptnr wrote:They need a coaster in the Magic Kingdom, not another one in mgm

They definitely need something in Disney's Hollywood studios. I don't know if another coaster is it. All the parks have some kind of theme. DHS is starting to be a mess as far as theming if you ask me.
I think they should really work more on the whole Hollywood studios theme and work more on shows, and rides based off of the like. DHS is a unique park when compared to the other Disney parks... it could be a blast. If it was handled right.

I'm all for the slower Disney experiences, too. I'm a coaster lover, but there are a lot of coasters all over the US. What Disney does differently is to make classics like Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Hollywood Tower. You can ride those over and over again and see something different each time.tmptnr wrote:I just wish they would build a longer themed ride like pirates or haunted mansion. Coasters are great but.... I want to see those creative disney minds get really creative again.

if you're motion sick, dont do Primeval Whirl. It's incredibly bumpy and jolts the riders around alot. It actually sorta hurt in certain parts. D:WVParkfan wrote:Well, perhaps the "theme" for this is Remy's ride through the sewer during the opening of the movie. He does get tossed around quite a bit, so that would make sense as a theme for a "wild mouse" type of coaster.
Regardless of the theming, I hope they come up with something different. I, for one, cannot ride the "spinning" rides like the Tea Cups and the Astro Orbiter because of motion sickness. I've never even tried Primeval Whirl because just looking at it makes me sick to my stomach! If they make another of these spinning-type of coasters, it will be another ride that I'll have to skip at WDW.
But seriously though....a Ratatouille ride is sorta odd. It was just an alright movie. An Incredibles Ride would be cool....Even a Cars ride. I mean come on....they're cars. Easy as pie.
