I hope so too. The more the merrier. Just as long as folks let us know how many are coming we will be happy.

Hi All: I am planning on booking my room next week. I was on the web site and realized that the French Quarter is booked except for king rooms for the week of December 3rd. Turns out my sister-in-law and nephew are going down to WDW in September for a few days when he has a few days off from school so they will not be coming in December. I really want to go in December so I decided to go as planned. I am also planning on attending the MVMCP. I have never attended any of the special events before. Is anyone else planning on attending the MVMCP? It might be fun to attend the same evening. It currently looks like I am now going to arrive on Monday monring December 3rd and return home the following Monday December 10th. Better air fare - only $99.00 each way! :mickey:

at least Brandon and I would be going to MVMCP. He paid for me last year, so I have to pay for him this time. I'm still working out expenses to make sure I can go this year, but so far it's starting to look brighter...

Hi All: It's official. I booked my flights this morning on JetBlue. Arriving into MCO on December 3rd at 10:40 AM and departing on December 10th at 8:20 PM. I am booked at Riverside at the AAA rate of $130.50 per night (including all taxes). I believe this is a rate of approximately $115.00 per night. I have not purchased any tickets yet for the MVMCP.

I think we should all post here once we make actual reservations!

Only 5 months to go! See you all soon! :mickey: :D :mickey:

really wish I could afford it this year. Sounds like it's going to be a decent turn out. And I would like to meet you all in person. I'm working on getting a (much) better payong job which may allow me to go, but we'll see...

Too bad I'll be in my last month of college then - wish I could be heading to Disney World instead. Take lots of pictures!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Okay, I'm lost. Exactly when and where is this meeting? I'll be at the Pop from the 7th to the 13th. I'll be doing Mousefest's Mega Meet on Sat afternoon and will be spending much time with my mom otherwise, but I'd really like to catch up with you guys, even if it's jsut for a drink at the Pop's lounge on Friday night or something.

well, as the 2 main organizers (Dr. Ravenscroft and myself) aren;t able to go this year, I don;t believe there are the plans in place for the meetup this year as yet. Last year, we did breakfast in the Polynesian (Captain Cooks, I think it was), then spent a few hours together in MK. I think the plan for this year was going to be much the same, but as we're not going...

still, those that are going, feel free to work something out. Looks like even without us, the turnout may be alot better than last year.

Darn, sorry to hear you can't go. :( :(

But for those of us still going, I'd still love to meet everyone. I'm going to be with my Mom though so I can't plan anything extensive. Who would be interested in a drink at the Pop on Saturday evening, say around 6pm?

Hypermommy, you could come to the Fantasmic Dessert Party and we could all have a mini-SR meet there :)

Let me know if you all decide on something different so I can try to squeeze it in so I can say hi :D

I would, but I'm getting very limited tix this time (2 days only for Epcot and no park hopping). I'm going to be there Friday night at the Pop Century but I'm not sure what time I'm getting in. What Mousefesty things are going on Friday night? Maybe I could get to one of those (if they're at a resort and not a park).
