I'd highly suggest Mario Strikers Charged to everyone on the board. It's a great game that's easy to pick up and play, plus it has online play!

I'll post my Wii number sometime soon, but if anyone has Mario Strikers, hopefully we can play a couple of friendlies!

Is Mario Strikers Charged a new release? I hadn't heard of it yet. What type of game is it? Silly me I didn't know there were any wii games you could play online yet. That is so cool. My kids will like that.

It just came out last week. It's an arcade style soccer game that's really easy to pick up and play (kids can get by with "button mashing", but there's still plenty of strategy as well), and you can play as all the Mario people. It is the first widely online Wii title (Pokemon was the first, but wasn't good at all in most peoples' opinion), and you can play with one or two people online against others (so two people can both play on one console at the same time). The online mode would be great for families too, because there isn't any chat or anything, so you don't have people cussing, etc. over your speakers. You can even play online versus random people in "ranked" matches that track your progress, or play against friends any way you want.
I kind of sound like a Nintendo employee

, but the game really is a ton of fun. If anyone played the original that came out for the gamecube, they improved upon that one in basically every way possible.

This sounds great I'll have to check it out online and on our next trip to the game store. We have been waiting for a game that my kids can play with their friends online. I'm glad to hear there is some stragegy so it won't get too boring for them. I figured online gaming would happen with the wii especially since it is connected to the web. I sure hope they come out with more and more games that have this function.
